It’s the Little Things #136

I found some fun links this week for both me and my kids. I have a feeling that the mixer will be in use this weekend with one of the cakes from Zoe Bakes and I wouldn’t be surprised if the ice cream maker gets some use too. Check out the summer BLT from Midwest Living, the kitchen organizational eye candy from Woods & Ivory and my post about how to conquer pet odors in your home PLUS a flash sale on my Jumpstart Your Routine course you don’t want to miss (more to come tomorrow).

This is probably the most quintessential summer sandwich I have come across. What do you think of this combination from Midwest Living?

This probably doesn’t come as a surprise, but I absolutely love kitchen organization. There are so many great ideas and links in this kitchen organization post over at Woods & Ivory. Be sure to check it out!

We picked up these two books from the library this week and I am thinking that they both may need to join our cookbook collection. I absolutely love Zoe’s easy breezy style and how she makes baking masterpiece cakes attainable. We have an ice cream maker that the kids have been begging to use, so I think choosing a recipe or two from Rose Levy Beranbaum’s ice cream cookbook is just about perfect.

If you have pets and feel like your home is smelling and feeling less than fresh these days, check out this week’s post over on the blog.

If you’re looking for a little (or a lot of) help getting started with a Routine, you’ll be happy to hear that the Jumpstart Your Routine course is on Flash Sale this weekend.  If you are already a course participant, the guide is completely updated and I’ll be doing 3 lives over the next few weeks to get us back in the routine groove.

The Homekeeping Planners are coming…..look for more info next week including a peek at the FOUR covers, the new layout, and pre-order dates!  I can’t wait to share it all with you!
