It’s the Little Things #141

I happened upon some fun finds this week, from a built in bookcase look from The Inspired Room to two helpful foodie finds from Pioneer Woman and Cup of Jo. I also am sharing my free September cleaning calendar to help you get the month started off on the right foot.

If you are looking for a built in bookcase look on a budget, take a peek at how Melissa over on The Inspired Room used Target bookshelves to create a unified system.

As I was making dinner this past week, I realized that I was completely out of chicken broth for a recipe with no time to run to the grocery store. A quick search and up popped these suggestions from Pioneer Woman. Crisis averted!

We have a big dinner salad probably once a week on average. It is a great way to get in more veggies and use up what is left in the fridge. We also like to grill up extra chicken in anticipation for a salad later in the week. These homemade salad dressings from Cup of Jo take an ordinary salad to something special.
