How do you organize your time?  Are you always struggling with procrastination and distractions?  Is it difficult to get started on the tasks that matter most to you?  Do you feel like there is never enough time in the day for all of the things that need to be done? If any of these apply, then this article is for you. We are going to give four useful tips on how to organize your time even better so that everything gets done!

Set a Time for your Day to Start and Finish

One of the best things you can do is to set a specific time for your day to start and finish. This means that every morning, after going through this routine each day, you have a clear idea of what needs to be done throughout the rest of the afternoon. The next thing we recommend is staying off social media during these hours so that you are not distracted by online interactions with friends or family members.  If it’s difficult for you to stay away from social media completely then try limiting yourself on how much time spent scrolling through Facebook posts so about fifteen minutes per day maximum!

Of course, it goes without saying that keeping productive during work hours also includes turning off any notifications on your phone such as texts or push notifications because these services interrupt your workflow. Once you have clearly defined your morning hours, it’s important to decide how many of these hours are going to be dedicated towards the most significant tasks that need to get done for the day. Make sure not to over-schedule yourself because it will only lead up to stress and anxiety which is counterproductive when trying to achieve goals!

Create an Agenda of what you Need to Accomplish each Day

Once you have decided how many hours will be dedicated to the most important tasks each day, it’s time for you to create an agenda of what needs to get done. This is where your list comes in handy! The best way we’ve found is creating a simple spreadsheet with columns that include what needs to get done and when these things need to be completed so that there are no surprises throughout the course of the day! There are many methods you can use to create your agenda such as a handheld planner or even an app on your phone. Whichever you prefer is up to you but we recommend trying out different methods and seeing which one works the best for achieving goals!

Once this schedule has been created you should also take care of the calendar schedule. Maybe it’s the best thing to find some free printables templates and planners and start with it. It’s important that you stick with it no matter what because if not then there will be delays in accomplishing all of the tasks that need to get done during work hours.  This means turning off notifications from any social media platforms until after work hours are over so that nothing interrupts productivity!

Make a Schedule so that if Something Comes up, you Know When it will Occur Next

Even the best laid-out schedules can be disrupted by things that come up unexpectedly. Sometimes a meeting will get scheduled last minute or you may have to take an extra shift at work which means more time spent away from home! This is where having a schedule for what needs to happen next comes in handy because if something unexpected occurs then you simply look ahead and figure out when it might become free so that everything gets done on time.

For example, let’s say your child has been sick all night and cannot fall asleep without being held, this would mean finding someone who could babysit them while you finish working even though it wasn’t part of the original plan!

Keep Track of all the Tasks you did Today in Order to see How Efficient your Time was Used

Once you have completed your workday, it’s important to keep track of all the tasks that were accomplished so that you can see how much time was spent on each task. This will allow you to made adjustments in future days if necessary! When keeping track of these things use a simple spreadsheet with columns for what needs to get done and then place an ‘X’ next to them once they are complete. Once this is finished, add up the amount of Xs per column which gives you percentage points towards each specific task! From there, divide by the total number of hours worked today because this tells you exactly how efficient your day was based off of time usage!

Time is one of the most valuable resources you have to work with. Knowing how best to organize your time can be a challenge, which is why we’ve compiled these 4 tips that will help you get more done in less time. All it takes is some discipline and determination on your part! Which tip do you think has helped the most?
