DAY 3: Just One Surface – Kick the Clutter Challenge

Welcome to Day 3 of the Kick the Clutter Challenge! The new year is a great time to start new habits and to clear some clutter. Every day this week (January 3-7, 2022), you’ll find these prompts on cleanmama.com and on social media. Follow the checklist and you’ll put the Daily Task of ‘Clutter’ into practice AND get some space back in your home. 

Task 3: JUST ONE SURFACE – Choose just one surface that needs to be cleared. This can be a tabletop, counter, desk, coffee table, side table…. Completely clear this space, clean it, and let it sit empty for a bit while you decide what to do with the items that were on the surface. Use the Clean Mama sorting process of: Keep, Toss, Donate, Relocate.

Have more time and want to keep going? Choose another surface and repeat this process. If you’re new to the Clean Mama Routine, we do a little decluttering every day as part of the Daily Tasks. This helps to keep our homes clutter free all year long. Find out more here.
